The Moh hansli sits close at the throat: a heavy bamboo-segmented tube of matte antique gold, finished with fine granulation. Along its lower edge swing alternating medallions, kundan starburst rosettes and cabochon emeralds in beaded gold frames. Earthy rather than icy, rooted rather than glittering. Where South Indian temple craft meets the Mughal court.
